A good option might be to find the caves these cretins are lurking in and pump them full of pure oxygen. Couldn't be accused as using gas against our enemies, since oxygen is GOOD for us. We're merely trying to invigorate the Talibans' thought processes so that they can come to a reasonable conclusion to surrender. Of course, if they light a match or flick a light switch...
