I would imagine cause our State Dept. always demands that Israel show "restraint" in dealing with terrorist acts such as this. And, for them to negotiate with the terrorists. And, for them to give in to the terrorists demands, and like it.

IMHO the exiled jordanians don't care for their lives (children incl). What they care about, what makes them hurt, is land. The IDF should outright annexe a certain amount of West Bank land (say 5 acres) for every Israeli citizen that dies from terrorism and/or suffers injury (incl those citizens of Arab/Jordanian ethnicity -and there are a lot).

When the leaders realise that the trade of life for land (permanent transfer) means that every terrorist act means they paint themselves into a smaller, more desperate, more uncomfortable, more miserable, more despairing corner, they may opt out of this losing game. Land is all they respect. Even if it is fit for goats only.

Thanks for posting the pictures. It is truly devastating. Yes, the WTC was much bigger, but it is basically the same thing on a larger scale. I really hope that Israel responds harshly and swiftly. The only reason we haven't experienced the same frequent attacks is that we are so far away from these idiots.

I am furious; as furious as I was on 9/11. This isn't a seperate isolated thing, but more of the same.
