According to KTRK-TV (Channel 13), when commenting on the fact that Sanchez was endorsed by the Bush family, Brown said, "Sanchez was endorsed by Daddy Bush (#41), Sanchez was endorsed by Mommy Bush (Barbara), and Sanchez was endorsed by Baby Bush (President G.W. Bush). Time to go out and beat the bushes".
Disgusting. Maybe I will refer to L.P. Brown as "Buster Brown" from now on.
We called him "Out of Town" Brown when he was here in NYC . . . or rather, when he was hardly ever in NYC.

There has already been a "Buster Brown", as well as a Clark Kent, and my favorite Outlaw Josey Wales (my choice in the previous election cycle for mayor). It boggles my mind to se candidates throw in the towl and refuse to challenge the incumbent (it happened under Lanier as well). Protest candidates have their place but they do not replace a legitmiate candidate for the office.
BTW I knew Ralph who ran a protest race for mayor (his "Flush City Hall" t-shirt is a classic and still available at some stores around town).
