My question is, outside of the obvious trying to log on every so often, how will an AT&T cable suscriber KNOW when/if service is restored.

the lights on the modem are blinking as usual. It WOULD have been NICE of AT&T to not just send that letter around and give us non-working urls, but also to be communicating via the airwaves, email, etcetera.

Well, what do expect of an organization that has C. Michael Armstrong still as CEO. If a man ever needed to be fired for incompetency, it is that man!

How any Board of Directors can allow someone to make the huge mistakes in running a company, cause the shareholders to lose billions if not trillions of $, and still keep his job is beyond my understanding.

But then looking at the lineage and pedigreed of the members of the Board it all comes together. Quite a bunch of winners there!

Didn't the letter say they will call you when they're going to do the cross over? They can only do so much.
