I tend to agree with you. The cable modem LED's are putting on quite a show for my son and I right now! Even the e-mail orange light is flashing.
This is with no input form us so I can only assume it's coming from the net.

Son just read the manual and says that according to the LED sequnce the modem has now been reconfigured and it is registering the settings with my (new) ISP.
Kewl!
THe book says all I have to do now is wait fo rthe lights to settle down into operational mode.
If AT&T DOES acutlaly get me back online within the next few hours,
(Almost) all is forgiven!
