I'm not sure I can survive without a high-speed connection. It would be like going back to a party line and a cob stove. I am still here on the east coast at 3:24 am. I would rather slit my wrist than have dial up. I have never used dial up except at a friends house. I was one of cables first customers 5 or 6 years ago when they rolled it out in a few test areas.

Ditto that on this end. I'm still on and still fast.

I'm with you, the only people who don't mind dial-up are those that either don't use the net like I do, or haven't had cable.
