Shut down FR?????!!!! What on earth would I do from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m.every night? This is my only source of news. Sure there are some screwy people here occasionally, but there are some of those in my hometown too. As for the money....when people send money to NPR or PBS do they sit around demanding to know how their money is spent or what it is spent for? A donation is a donation to a non-profit org. Personally, I would like to see Jim and John both take a salary of enormous wealth. Who cares? Free Republic is not a website, it's a movement and it's only just begun. My $200 a year says stay and grow.
