Some people speak of an open forum, where anybody can post a message about any subject they want, as long as they abide by a few simple rules (obscenities, spamming, etc.) Well gee, that's just dandy--but that isn't FR.

It used to be FR, except that posts had to be more or less political. It worked darned well, too.

Here at FR we limit the discussion to topics that are important to us, and we even limit the opinions to the opinions that we hold dear.

Think that's fascist? Don't like living under the 24/7 watchful eye of the moderators? Well then shove off, sweetie, because that's what we got here and we like it.

You know, in the kind of heavily moderated forum of which you speak, telling somebody to shove off for so little cause would undoubtedly be a banning offense. Funny you should advocate something that clearly even you don't wish to abide by. Or are you a Sacred Moderator yourself?
