"Back before abortion on demand became the fad that it has been these past 30 odd years there were a number of unwed mother homes and a number of services to help them."

True. And many girls and women died of dangerous, unsanitary illegal abortions. I don't want to see that happen again either, and if abortion is completely outlawed I know it will.

Regardless of our differences, though, I suspect you might agree with me that it is way past time for both sides of the argument to tone down their rhetoric and come together to put some reasonable restrictions on the outer limits of today's current practices. The pro-life people need to stop calling the other side pro-abortion, and the pro-choice people need to stop calling the other side anti-choice (it is only polite to call others what they wish to be called.) It's time for some civility, some recognition that reasonable minds with different belief systems can all share some common humanity, a common goodness, and work to find areas of agreement to implement into law.

What do you suggest?

I noticed after perusing your follow-ups from over the weekend while having my morning cigar at me computer this lovely morning that you are charitable in your exchanges with Granma(?)
