Not really. It is just what I believe.
It is like asking a Christian the basis for his belief that Christ is the Son of God. The Christian who gives me long answeres based upon scriptures and what not is not really sure of his beliefs. He needs to prove them. The Christian who says "because He is" is the one who I would accept as having a solid belief.

One last question then I'll leave you alone.
If medical science advances so that a 10 week old fetus, born to your daughter, can survive to become a human being without the need for its mother, but is killed by a psycopath in the nursery at the hospital, what should the killer be charged with?

Is it possible your first breath belief is a sustained satire?

Actually, the informed Christian can give historical evidence (like that in the Bible) to help validate that belief. "Because He is" just shows that faith is needed in this case because one can't prove Jesus is God. However, this doesn't apply to something like Life, because that can be observed and proved (as it's a biological term by nature. In other words, it's a term of science, defined by science, validated by science. It's not a term of faith as "Jesus is God". Scientific terms should never be validated or accepted on "Just because it is").
