Actually I am offended that I have to pay for anyone children to go to school, but probably not in the way you would think. I believe education is a benefit to the country as a whole and should be available to all, just NOT through federal tax donations only through the states. I can find nothing in the US Constitution authorizing the feds to play any role in education. The states however do have the ability to do this from the same document.

Secondly, I am absolutely disgusted that the money we are forced to pay for education goes to classes promoting homosexuality, abortion etc. Million upon millions of our federal tax dollars go down the sewer known as the NEA and still "Johnny Can't Read", include the money we pay in state/local tax towards education, it's probably a good thing Johnny can't do math either, or else he'd figure out how much of a ride he's being taken for.

We are in agreement. Education is a wonderfull thing, which I would gladly contibute to ... as long as it is in line whith what I know to be 'educational' and of value. Relegating it to the states would be the first step and the constitutional thing to do.
