Nebraska, Oklahoma, BYU and Stanford (if they win Saturday)can qualify for at large bids. Florida, Tennessee, Texas and Colorado can also make it as an at large if they don't win the conference title.

From a pure money draw, BYU in Arizona would be the best ticket. Doesn't mean they are the best team, but for the money it is a good idea. But BYU has two tough games. Mississippi State has SEC pride on the line and Hawaii, like Utah, loves to play spoiler. Hawaii lives to play BYU, all other games are just wasting time. BYU must win and win big or eligibility would knock them out of consideration.

Given that Texas and Nebraska are members of the Big 12, it's no surprise that they have a loss recorded! Relative ease of schedule my foot. If only Miami had it so easy, they wouldn't even be in the top 10.

Easy? Miami just blew out two ranked teams by a margins of 50+ points each (setting an NCAA record, BTW). Nebraska lost to a similarly ranked team 62 to 36. You're funny. HAHAHAHAHAHhahahahahahahah........

I think the Rose Bowl should opt out of the BCS as the Cotton Bowl apparently has done. Bowl organizers admit publicly that most West Coast teams are not selected for the premier southeastern US bowls because their fan base will not normally travel that far for a game. In addition, fans from the east and midwest have much more incentive to get away in the winter for a game in Florida than does a fan from California. The Rose Bowl is the only premier west coast bowl, so declining the BCS would allow them to reserve a spot for the best West Coast team (U of Ore this year).
