This can be boiled down to one sentence: The Dems are willing to lie through their teeth to win, as usual. IF the GOP is not willing to fight back, and fight hard, they risk losing.
The lead was shredded by a merciless, factually faulty lambasting of Boozman on Social Security, orchestrated by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Republicans need to understand that people WILL believe what they are told, if they are told it loudly and frequently enough.
Republicans must get more aggressive. I do not believe that Bush's popularity will carry over to the GOP next year. Bush's high numbers are for him personally, not the GOP.
