Breaking news out of Goodlettsville: investigators are on the scene at the Iowa Beef Processing plant, after an apparent shooting there Monday morning.
SWAT team members and negotiators have been called in.
Employees arriving at work at the plant on South Cartwright Street were not allowed inside. At 6:15 Monday morning, the Goodlettsville Fire Department called Metro and asked for assistance.
Emergency crews reported that one person had been shot five times, and another victim was possibly still inside the plant. After speaking with Goodlettsville police, we now believe there was only one victim involved.
Employees were evacuated from the building and herded outside into a parking lot, but they were not allowed to leave in their cars.
One victim was transported by ambulance to Vanderbilt Medical Center. Goodlettsville police set up a road block at the plant gate, allowing no one in or out of the parking lot.
While police are not talking, News 2 has spoke with an employee from the plant who says a man was shot in a locker room inside the plant during shift change, and the gunman was still on the loose on plant property.
Stay tuned to News 2 and WKRN.com for the latest information.

Recent photo of Bruce Bovine, the alleged shooter in this incident. Police believe Bovine is packing approximately 39 quarts of DEADLY METHANE GAS and, for that reason, is to be considered ARMED AND DANGEROUS.

Here in PA, the shooter would be excused by many NRA types as merely celebrating the opening day of deer season.

Authorities advised the public to remain calm, as such incidents are "rare to medium-rare."
