However, I'm still not sure all the pledgers for the scarves will be able to make good on their good intentions, and I'm nowhere near recouping for the Christmas candy boxes as I didn't try to solicit for it, just did it. Your donation will be credited to one or the other.

Yes, I know how often pledgers, despite all good intentions don’t follow through… it’s just so easy, once the pledge has been made, to put it out of mind, thinking “ok, I’ve done it…” then forget to do it (hiding face in embarrassment). That’s the reason I never make pledges any more… I just don’t say anything until I can – or have sent – the money.

I was wondering how to put something patriotic in the stockings of my liberal in-law, and sneakily decided on some "United We Stand" postage stamps.;-)

What a great idea… a gift anyone can use! I need several gifts for liberal "co-inlaws" that should be a remembrance, but not too expensive.

How are they packaged?

I didn't package them, just ripped 5 off the roll and stuck them between the candy and the lottery tickets in the stocking. But I believe you can buy a book of stamps, like 20 or 25 of them in it, for like $8.50 or less. I got a roll of 100, which is $34.00.
