While I believe Ashcroft is a genuinely-good man, I'm not sure he's got the cajones to do what Dubyuh's Attorney General has got to do...I wouldn't be surprised to see Ashcroft RESIGN and fer Dubyuh to name Rudy "Newsweak's Man of the Year" Guiliani as the new AG!!

#267 You could be right about Ashcroft, but if Pres Bush and the entire Repub Party let it be known they back him, he may carry it out. I believe the same about Rudy or anyone else who's in the position. The Dems have crucified anyone who spoke out against the Clintons--time to accuse the Dems, too, of obstructing justice, and scare the hell out of them. FNC could help, and if the other newsies (if they can be called that) would have to join in, if they want any audience at all.

The election showed a sincere interest in the Repubs hanging in when it counts, and they need to do it over and over until they do it routinely. Problem, tho', with the Dems so desperate to stay in for the Senate, and get in for the House, if we think we've seen vote fraud in the past, it is gonna be much worse in '02. If I had a choice of one to send to the pokey, it would be that louse, McAuliffe, as he is as dirty as it gets, and willing to do whatever necessary.
