John Ashcroft knows more about the Clinton crimes and has more of a personal reason for going after them than any of us. He did vote for impeachment. He is also a student of history, a lawyer, a man with a long and distinguished record of service who knows DC and judicial politics.

The press's recent history (last 50 years at least) of ignoring Dem. smoking guns makes me a pragmatist. When the KGB files were made public proving the high level of Communist infiltration into Hollywood and FDR/Truman's White House, did we read about it in the papers? Did the press admit that McCarthy was right? Where was the press when JFK was sleeping with an E. German woman and impregnating another? How did Woodward and Bernstein miss that little Watergate detail about the Democrat call-girl ring and the break-in to retrieve the photo of John Dean's then girlfriend Mo Biner's picture from the desk at DNC Headquarters? Why did the press glamorize and give the microphone to the Vietnam War protestors? What do you do when slick lawyers use every trick in the book, when subpoenaed witnesses flee the country or take the 5th by the hundreds, when witnesses who do show up simply state "I can't remember" (and when taking the oath on the Bible mean's nothing), when records are erased, shredded, "unrecoverable," missing and concepts like honor and truth are lacking, making any trial a mockery? Why do they do puff pieces on every Democrat from Tom Daschle to Jonathon Edwards with no shared Republican commentary or questioning of Dem. "facts"? Why don't they do the same for Republicans? Why do people around the world still think Bill Clinton's great (ask AP)?

JFK's administration appointed all Dems. to the bench, prompting the '63 ABA to protest his not including Republicans and unbalancing the bench. Can you imagine today's ABA saying this? Let someone else sue Clinton. Let every able-bodied American who isn't the Commander-in-Chief of our armed forces during a war sue Clinton. Then take on the press, the judiciary, the public schools and the Sierra Club, NAACP, ACLU, AFL-CIO...someone else do it, because if Republicans go the way of lawsuit...as a party, or as a representative of the party in today's Clintonized and still corrupt country (change doesn't happen overnight), we will for sure be seeing Dems. elected in following elections...all sounding sweet and above reproach while, unburdened by a conscience, they freely accuse us of every hurtful and divisive plot with a blank check from the press.

I would argue that it's easy to be as nasty as most Dems. Most of us do that naturally. It takes courage, maturity and self-restraint not to sink to their level, not to respond in kind and stick to your goals.

Who right now, by all appearances, is ignoring a MASS MURDER connected to TREASONABLE activities. Who right now, by all appearances, is ignoring a plan by the DNC to BLACKMAIL Republicans. Who right now, by all appearances, is ignoring Communist Chinese and DNC election tampering ... a crime that strikes at the very heart of our election process.

The press's recent history (last 50 years at least) of ignoring Dem. smoking guns makes me a pragmatist.

Oh. Is that what you call it. I call it GIVING UP.

I'll tell you what. YOU INVESTIGATE using the full power of the Federal Government ... the DOJ, the FBI, the IRS, the Military? THAT is what DID NOT HAPPEN during the Clinton administration and that is the ONLY reason the democRATS got away with it. Exhume and autopsy Ron Brown's body ... prove he was murdered ... and a lot of people are going to jail for a long time (for covering up a mass murder) unless they TALK. And no attorney or jury on earth will save them. Why are you so afraid to let our justice system do its work? If it can't, then we really do need to be afraid ... and we need to know that it doesn't ... NOW.

because if Republicans go the way of lawsuit...as a party, or as a representative of the party in today's Clintonized and still corrupt country (change doesn't happen overnight), we will for sure be seeing Dems. elected in following elections...all sounding sweet and above reproach while, unburdened by a conscience, they freely accuse us of every hurtful and divisive plot with a blank check from the press.

You are wrong. Prove the DNC and Clinton administration covered up (and perhaps committed) a MASS MURDER to prevent testimony implicating them in TREASONABLE activities and the democRATS will be scrambling to switch parties and the press will be in HIDING. Because OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE is also a crime and the press knows it.

It takes courage, maturity and self-restraint not to sink to their level, not to respond in kind and stick to your goals.

Ignoring MASS MURDER, TREASON and ELECTION TAMPERING (to name just a FEW of the crimes) because it is "politically expedient" IS (by ANY definition) sinking to their level. And it certainly should make you suspicious that they would respond in kind if they got the chance. The bottom line is that politicians, regardless of the party, will do whatever it takes to get elected and stay elected. If you think otherwise then you are dreaming.

Your right Cowgirl! I just have to believe that Bush and Ashcroft are sitting on the information of the past administration's corruption until the time which they clearly have all the evidence to reveal and prosecute. I will not accept the notion that Bush and Ashcroft are merely hoarding this knowledge for their personal political careers. If this is what we are to believe from their lack of actions, than what use is there to continue to hope for truth and honesty in our government. I mean isn't that why we elected George Bush our republican president? I believe the truth will eventually come out about Clinton and Hillary if the information is there.
