Good for them. Each time a stink like this is developed, it gets the franchise more popularity. Stupid fundamentalist idiots, don't they realize that children are going to want to read it anyways regardless of what the school says? Heck, it's probably going to get even more attention now, because now it's not only gotten kids to read, but it's given an excuse for kids that like to break the rules. The only franchise getting bad press happens to be the Christians in question, oh, but like, is that a surprise?

One of the most misused words is "fundamentalist." It simply means those us of who believe in certain fundamental principles of Christianity. Not all fundamentalists oppose HP.
However, your point on making HP more attractive by the exuberance of the protests is well made.
