I would not let my kids see that movie. The school they went to was reading my youngest son harry potter without parents promision or knowage. So we home school are kids now. My son want to burn the Harry Potter book the public school gave him.

Parents have the right to let there kids see that movie or read the book. But the public schools should not have the right to choise. In Denver they took a whole elementry school there. The teachers took it apon then selfs to take the kids. The didn't even have to ask parents. Thet is sick.

Man, I had to get parental permission to see "Romeo & Juliet." Times have changed, huh? I guess the public schools know what's better for our kids than the parents. The village, you know.

Your kids have the right to be schooled by someone who can speak and write the English language.

Please do your kids a favor and employ an English language teacher before it is too late.

I'm impressed you made the commitment to homeschool your children. I hope someone else is working with them on spelling, punctuation, sentence structure, capitalization, and grammar.

Although I applaud your efforts to provide your children with an appropriate educational philosophy, I am rather concerned that you seem to have a poor command of the English language. Since many homeschoolers network among their strengths, I would hope that you are considering this concept for your children's sake. I'm sure you have other strengths to offer your community.

I see where many on this thread are criticizing you for your spelling, but my keyboard often has the same problem as well. I hit the right key or in my haste, I don't punch some hard enough. Either way, your detractors don't realize that your spell problem is minor and physical but they have a serious "spell" problem -- the spel cast by Old Harry himself. You see, being that this book came from Britain, a land that exports a lot of occultic spiritism to America, one must go there to find out that an old nickname for Satan or the Devil is "Harry" or "Old Harry". Of all the names JKR could have chosen for her young hero, worshipped by people as if they are on heroin, she chose a nickname for the Devil. This is proven out by looking in a dictionary -- Webster's New World Dictionary, for example.. "Harry" is the unequivocal name for "Satan" as is well known in the Isles. When people say that Harry Potter is about Satan, they are dictionarily, linguistically, and literally correct. The name "Harry" derived from ancient Chaldean means "foe, enemy, adversary" -- the same thing that Satan means. The word "harry", also short for a "harlequin" [a demon huntsman from Dante's Inferno] means to "harass, torment, pilage, destroy, prey upon others". While your spell problem is minor, the spell problem of HP worshippers is major. Your detractors need a dictionary more than you do. And even with your spelling errors, you are wiser than them all and that you even think -- in God's eyes and mine.

When you home-school your kids, do you teach them grammar and spelling?
