What I said about Michigan is true.
My brother-in-law--from Georgia--has been married twice. Both wives were from Michigan. I don't know why.
Wife #1 was from Bloomfield Hills. What a beautiful place. Nice wedding.
The UP won my heart though. My wife and I had a long, leisurely trip there one time. It was so beautiful. The birches. The evergreen trees. The strong wind blowing from the lake.
Be thankful!

Sorry for expecting the worst. That is the first time I've seen a Southerner on one of these South vs. North threads say something nice about any place in the North though.

I've always like Great Lakes women. They're easier to talk to than women where I live.

I actually live pretty far South from the lakes. I may have to go up there next year. My last major trip was to Atlanta, Charlotte, and Myrtle Beach for a week. I couldn't really enjoy the scenery though because I had to cancel a river rafting trip because a friend of mine changed jobs and couldn't go. Then the main thing I did was take 70 laps in a NASCAR race car.
