Harry Browne (big time loser in 2000 elections) is on Fox now...being grilled by...AL DAMATO!?....Harry, you are such a loser...tune in and watch...no wonder Libertarians only got 350k votes out of 50 million.
By the way, when Clarke ran for governor, he was an in house anti trust lawyer for ARCO. Now just how "mainsteam" can you get? LOL.
My friend, I DO accept my guilt as an American that Mr. Clinton was our President. Every American shares some part of the guilt for this, ranging from the most guilty, those who actively supported him, to the least guilty, people like us Freepers, who strongly opposed him, but obviously did not do what it would take to get him out of office. This is a guilt which we will all take with us to our graves, and produces a debt which we will forever owe to our posterity. Nothing will ever wash out our guilt.
Your thinking is that an individual is the equivalent of the group, so each invidual can be judged solely on the basis of comments made by another invididual.
I am sure that you will find it easy to quote me to the effect that individuals can be judge SOLELY on the basis of comments made by another individual. On the other hand, it is obvious that the voluntary support of individuals for other persons can rightly be considered as an indication of their views. For example, members of the Nazi partty can reasonably be suspected as being anti-semitic.
Hence, as an American, you are also identical in thoughts to Browne (same group - Americans).
You are getting off the beam here, since Americans rejected Browne, in fact the support of Browne is clear evidence, though not proof, that one is NOT an American
Conclusion using YOUR distorted logic is that you suck just like Browne
I would be entertained if you could reduce this to syllogistic form, since it is clearly not logical.
Regards
"I am a libertarian and have been for forty years. I do not agree with Harry Browne."
So, what do you do when this is the guy representing the Party at election time?
No, the position you describe is purely despicable.
You too, friend....enjoy it.
And the connection between this statement, and the subject of this thread, which concerns the national defense position of the Libertarian Party of the US, and it's Presidential candidate, Mr. Browne, is what, exactly?
Absolutely. He looked like a complete idiot trying to debate the Fonz. He was not happening - at ALL. All I could think of were the folks here who hate President Bush and say they "proudly" voted for Harry Browne. I didn't have a negative opinion of him before, but in all honesty, he really looked like a moron tonight.
At this point those who know the details of the evidence against Osama are national officials at the highest levels, spies, and traitors. Just which one of these are you, Slaveman.
---- Harry is really enraged. - He is out of his political gourd, and burning all bridges. He will never again be able to lead the libertarian party. -- But he never was very good at it anyway. And that's no big deal in any case.
But he IS saying things that need to be said, even though I don't agree with them.
Ya gotta love his honest rage at what HE perceives to be happening to this country.
He's some of the loyal opposition, and we need more of em.

-- I didn't catch the tv show, but if Harrys on the same rant as his last column, my remarks above still hold.
_Jim, -- it's sure good to see all the socialistic, authoritarian, fanatical fundamentalist creeps you are allies with, - venting their bowels & bile. Adds a lotta class to FR.
And I class a lot of them as the unloyal opposition, to a free constitutional republic.
Mr. Browne does represent the Libertarian party, since the delegates of that party have twice nominated him to represent them as their choice to take charge of our national defense. The responsibility and guilt is theirs, not his.

No, I don't know what is in the classified papers, that President Bush has seen, Blair has seen, and a myriad of others , at the TOP , have read. I DO know , all too well, what the 1993 terrorists did, and what they have said.I know what the evidence, on them , is. I know What OBL, Mullah , one eyed Omar has said, I know EVERYTHING that is available to know about 9/11/01, and I knew THREE people who were MURDERED, on that horrible day in N.Y.C. !
What does Harry know ? Only his own cretinous, unAmerican, disgusting views .
