Another case of inhaled anthrax has been reported in CT, and like the lady in NY, under mysterious circumstances--story here. This via Fox.

Lots of good work here, Alamo-Girl. What do you make of the fact that all of the legislators who received anthrax envelopes are Democrats? I don't want to believe it's an American and am too biased in that wish to provide an opinion.

I read the profile twice and found it very interesting, but didn't find that any right wingers had been targeted. Did I miss something in the profile section that you mentioned?

The perp is not an American. The date is written 09-11-01. Americans would have written 9/11/01, without the leading 0, and with slashes instead of dashes.

Except that I think in most foreign countries, dates are written day-month-year, so it would've been 11-09-01.

OTOH, with it referred to so much as 9/11 that may have been the normal thing to do. Or it was someone foreign who has gotten used to some American style of writing dates. Or from a country that uses month-day-year.

I may have missed these while scanning the article:

Anthrax introduced into USPS Express envelope sent from FL to Kenya (to a Doctor there); this was one of the early cases back in early October;
Anthrax in diplomatic mail packet in Lithuania;
Anthrax in mail to a newspaper in Pakistan;
Anthrax in mail to Santiago, Chile, mailed from Switzerland.
Also, the baby that contracted anthrax at ABC--there has been no additional published data that any contamination was found at ABC. Wonder if there is even a remote connection among this baby, the nurse who lived alone in NY, and the elderly lady in CT.

Say... what became of the case where there anthrax in the envelope returned to a Microsoft company in Nevada? I thought that it tested POSITIVE, in the end, after they kept changing their minds whether it was anthrax or not.

I am NOT pleased to hear about that potential anthrax in a 90 year old female in Connecticut who has been hospitalized for a week.

The Kenya case was NEGATIVE.

I don't think it was someone unconnected to the terrorists at all. Most of the stuff was of high grade and got out too quickly. To do this without getting infected or caught takes a certain amount of time to plan and aquire resources.

In other words for a domestic party to get their hands on, plan to distribute and mail this stuff out and infect people so shortly after 911 is quite improbable. It would be most logical to conclude that the Anthrax scare was "locked and loaded". Although I wouldn't discount copy cats who came afterwards with lower grade stuff and less thought out plans.

Also the geographic coincidences are too many. Some of the terrorists rented an apartment from that tabloid owner's wife, and many were from the Trenton area.
