What are the laws regarding counterfeit money? Are these people likely to get the Treasury after them?

Giving it to an unsuspecting victim and representing it as a donation is the same as trying to spend it. Secret Service should get involved

If we (the US) made a $3 bill, and this "artwork" could be mistaken for genuine currency, then it could fall under counterfit laws. A $3 bill is just a novelty item. I have gotten a few real dollars rubber stamped with "queer money". That legally is defacing currency. (Although they spent just fine)...

I looked at the link, and decided that to my mind it was too close to the real $1 bill. I've reported it to the Treasury Department...
