Can't we leave the Bible out of Political discussions? This is NOT a church. This is a POLITICAL discussion group.

excuse me. when life begins is a legitimate question that people have. i used the bible as a reference to support my beliefs. abortionists can rarely quote a source to support their beliefs. i interpret this to mean that they believe abortion is a convenience.

our founding fathers referred to the bible often to help them govern. if we as a people would do the same today, we would find that we would have less government interfering with our lives.

with freedom comes responsibility.

WHICH PART of "body politic" do you not understand?

You have no hesitation citing sources of value to you. You have no trouble valuing highly those documents, sources, principles which have brought your life meaning and guided your choices and behaviors. You are happy to integrate those into the whole of your life and certainly to guide your understanding of, discussion of and interaction with/in the body politic.

But you want to prevent Christians from doing the same. What a selfishly unnoble attitude and perspective that appears to be.
