Would the founding fathers oppose the use of force in response to the 9/11 attacks on America while maintaining that our borders should be totally open?

The reason I ask is because one of the fathers of the Libertarian Party seems to hold those views concurrently.

Most of the founding fathers were Paleo-fundies, and if they were alive today, they'd be banned from FR in 10 seconds.

I'm not a Libertarian Party member but I never heard that they were opposed to using force against the terrorists. OTOH, I am sure a lot of old line conservatives would have condemned Ben Franklin for writing why it is advantageous to make it with older women.
