Wrong! Many people go ex-pat to make money. Trust me they hate the f*** out of us unless they came from an intensly persecuted minority!

"Based on the facts and numbers...do the majority of Muslims/Arabs in this world hate this country?"
This isn't politically correct at all... but I'd say yes, the vast vast majority of Muslims hate our guts.
Just an FYI, Muslim is not synonymous with Arab. I have friends who are Arab Christians and they are good people; they also understand this Islamic problem that we are having now much clearer than the majority of Americans because they have had to deal with it for far longer than we have.

Look...we are on the same side of this battle so I don't want to argue with you. However, I am not real sure about your figures and I think you are overstating. I could be wrong about that however. I don't think we really know.

Actually, I have the links, but when you're dealing with idiots rather than FReepers on these things, they just don't want to hear the truth...

I don't think Muslims in America and in other countries around the world consider, debate, or determine right or wrong about America's actions or Muslim terrorists' actions. The fact is, their religious beliefs are their political beliefs are their loyalities, etc. A Muslim living in America may or may not hate America, but their loyalty is to Muslims. If Muslims are being attacked by Americans, they are with the Muslims. That is the way it is if they believe their religion. It can be no other way. Being loyal or patriotic to America against their Muslim brother (whoever it is) is unreal. They may not own up to it for their own safety, security and way of life here, but it is there nevertheless.

I came into this argument knowing full well that I am very angry with my Iranian friend who has taken a position against the USA, but I still felt that we needed to give the majority of Islam the benefit of the doubt. I felt the need to be fair and not over-react. I hope you are wrong, but I fear you are right. I personally think that we should send all visa holder's from the middle east packing. Even though some of them may be perfectly good people, we are at war and we do not fully understand who the enemy really is.

If, they hate us so much, why then, did they immigrate over here? Are there any Muslims reading my post? If so, please get the hell out of my country. I am beginning to hate you ,as much as, you hate me.

Last, but by no means least, courage--moral courage, the courage of one's convictions, the courage to see things through. The world is in a constant conspiracy against the brave. It's the age-old struggle--the roar of the crowd on one side and the voice of your conscience on the other. - Douglas MacArthur

Based on the facts and numbers...do the majority of Muslims/Arabs in this world hate this country? Just what kind of "facts" are you looking for? I doubt any polls have been conducted on the subject. So you'd have to rely on apocryphal data, which is probably worse than raw guessing.
I don't recall the exact numbers, but my 1998 almanac reports that there are approximately 1 billion Muslims in the world, mostly in third-rate rathole countries like Somalia, Pakistan, Iran, etc.. By contrast, there are almost 2 billion Christians, including almost 1 billion Catholics alone. I don't recall the numbers of Jews, but there is little question the non-Muslims outnumber the Muslims substantially.
As to the hostility of American Muslims toward this country, how do you propose coming up with any reliable numbers?
To: cdwright
We weren't attacked by Americans but infiltrators. With your broad brush you have attempted to link and lump all moderate Muslims whether they hold citizenship or not with the attackers. In the above discourse these mindless attacks also cannot help but insinuate that this is motivated by Religion whereas I assert that Islamic Fundamentalist extremists are merely using faith to regulate and motivate a small militant block of radicals as a military force. You are effectively declaring the faith itself is of black origin and damn all who follow its edicts. And THAT my friend is a one-way ticket to generational low-intensity combat, for you will not turn moderate Moslems against their "God" anymore than they can turn you against yours. Ultimately, they will turn only against you because they will consider it an attack upon them. Particularly if you incite the weak-minded so-called Christians to start whacking their fellow Americans because of their religion. No good can come from what you are doing, and this is where we part. What in Gods name are you doing?

I'm sorry that you were hurt by a person posing as a friend. All I am trying to say is that we should not put a label on all fellow Americans that are Muslims. It shows ignorance and reduces us to the level of those who have a deep hate for all Americans no matter who or what they are. Don't let one disapointment ruin your faith in people that are good and the majority who are really on our side, or at least what i hope is a majority......

"
Should we now at this time really take the step towards filtering out this country and pointing out the traitor's and making their lives so miserable on a daily basis that they move to another country? I say yes."And so did the New York State Supreme Court in about 1892 when they ruled that non-Christian religions ("..imposters such as Mahommet..") were not to be extended the same freedoms of religion as stated in the federal, state, and local documents, but to be "harrassed." Remember Mohammad Juniad (www.freerepublic.com/focus/fr/563449/posts), "I'm willing to kill the Americans." So we even have Stare Decisis (sp?)
What additional provocation do we need?
