They condemn Israel because it's non-muslim and close-by. If Israel never existed, it'd be somebody else.
Exactly right!! Anytime I get into a discussion with a liberal on the MidEast, the first thing out of their mouths is, "We have to understand, the muslims hate us because of our support for Isreal.". As soon as they say that, I ask them, "OK then how do you explain muslim violence in the Phillipans, Indonesia or Kashmir?". At this point the lib usually changes the subject.
