I am a GWB fan, for the most part. However, I was extremely dissapointed that he did not participate at all here in Virginia during the recent governor's race. I know he is busy, but a single appearance could have made the differnence. One of the "spoils" that a presidential victory should include is helping fellow republicans win.

It wouldn't have made a difference. The Republicans ran an anti-gun Republican against a pro-gun and fiscally conservative Democrat in a state where taxes and gun rights are high.
