That's right. I was thinking of the submarine Nova Scotia, also based at Salt Lake, an escort ship.

The B-58 Hustler was one of the coolest planes ever. Four engines, supersonic, and an external weapons bay that could carry nukes. Certainly the submarine launches were tricky but no worse than the B-3s in Albania
