I feel sorry for anyone trying to watch from the heart of Texas, unless the skies really clear between now and 5 AM. It's darker than pitch outside, and not a star to be seen.

Saw it! We had to get out and start driving, but we were able to find the one spot in my state that had neither fog nor cloud cover! While the meteors weren't constant, they were very frequent. I'd say probably 30+ per minute at times. And a couple nice bright ones, too! Too bad I don't live in Australia or Asia... they were supposed to have seen 8,000-15,000/hr.
