That 'poem' is an offering from Rush's 1982 release,
Signals. At the time, they'd been around (in album form) for 6 years, and their previous release,
Moving Pictures, (not counting the fabulous live
Exit Stage Left) was a classic the second it hit the shelves.
Subdivisions was more than great music, it was brilliant social commentary. The entire album/tape (funny, huh?) was fantastic. If you've never heard it, I highly recommend it.

These planes land somewhere don't they? The best response is no response at all I suppose. Maybe they're landing at a clandestine air strip somewhere in one of Clinton's new roadless forrest preserves. Do you think?
I pprefer their older stuff. Exit Stage Left and my favorite, 2112.(Neil is my sons favorite drummer)
