Whooo Hooo! I am so glad this was posted. I got in on the tail end of the news report and wasn't sure what happened.
This is great news, I want to go hug Chandra's parents, they must be so thankful to the grand jury!
My hopes and prayers are that this slime gets found out, sooner, rather than later, as I feel he is guilty of something concerning her disappearance.

The reuters story seemed to imply the subpoena was for documents from his House office. This could include things such as his calendar, etc. . .

No, its not a quote or it would be in quotation marks, "I am considering whether to comply with the subpoena." IN FACT, the reporter could have written this without Condit saying anything at all. Once the subpoena has gone out, a reporter can say Condit is "considering" whether to comply with it. The sentence means nothing except to bias the reader against Condit. Its dishonest reporting to phrase like that but Condit is a public figure; he can't sue for libel or slander so he's an easy target for tricks.
