You suggest something absolutely unAmerican. Christian prayer and other overt religious activity was encouraged and often required by the government in most all public schools until the 1940's. NO ONE considered this "establishment" until someone resurrected a private letter of Jefferson that made reference to a phantom "wall of seperation" that he personally thought might be nice - but which was never the prevailing understanding in the USA. Any position to the contrary is an aberrration of the Constitution and Bill of Rights.
