None of the social studies teachers at our schools talk about the Constitution. Their textbooks are written by Howard Zinn and they talk about how terrible Christopher Columbus was and how kids should rise up and DEMAND social justice!

I've seen a few texts like that. Keep in mind, it's not
all bad out there. I have the Constitution up in my classroom, and use it in class discussion at least monthly... and I'm a math teacher.
