According to the homosexual community, they are JUST like us, except that they are attracted to members of their own sex. If that person is living a celebate life, then why would he wish to identify with that community?

I agree with you, why did he tell me? I didn't like it, and told him so, since it didn't matter, but he had no answer. We had a lot of e-mail exchanges, and I think he viewed me as a close friend, perhaps he felt I should know--and if you wonder, it wasn't sexual between the 2 of us, I'm 25 yrs his senior. We were close friends, and altho' we still correspond, and I go for an occasional retreat, I don't feel the same about him. What he told me should have been private to him.
