Great pics rintense!

Miss M., I thought the same thing when I noticed him holding Nelson Mandela's hand; such a kind gesture. Another gesture of friendshhip he uses is the hand on the back as you can see as they are going back up on the portico.

But I have to disagree with you about Putin; he's no David McCallum (yum, yum, I'm transported back 35 years!) Putin actually reminds me of Wayne Gretzky!

I totally agree with your assessment of Myers and X42. It is wonderful to have an intelligent and well-read person taking on the White House Press Corp and representing our President. He has the experience even though he fell into politics purely by accident. He has done very well for this administration and I, for one, hope he stays around for awhile longer. Although it is not uncharacteristic for Press Secretaries to not serve the full term of the presdidency. Did I mention he is easy on the eyes too? LOL

I've been wracking my brain for a long time to think of who it is that he reminded me of and that's who it is! Thanks!

When listening to Drudge last night I thought today was going to be a nightmare for the president with headlines screaming "Gore won Florida!" I'm so glad to see that most of the media is declaring Bush would have won (again!). Both the local papers had that headline this morning. Doesn't stop the whining from the usual suspects, but nothing will.

Ari served as Bush's transition team spokesman, and had already gained a reputation among the Washington press corps. He has served as the Washington-insider on a campaign team of outsiders. Fleischer also served as press secretary for Sen. Pete Domenici, R-N.M., from 1989 until 1994 and then spent five years as spokesman for the House Ways and Means Committee dealing with issues relating to taxes, social security, welfare and international trade. He worked for Elizabeth Dole's presidential campaign in 1999.

Rintense, thank you - once again - for taking from your day to post pictures of our marvelous President. The pictures today bring tears to the eyes. You can see his distress and depth of feeling for the people of New York and all of those lost on Fight 587.

It's funny you mention the flapping from the "usual suspects!" I just had a discussion with a big-headed liberal that just won't let the subject die. I can't image what our world would be like right now if Al Bore was in office. It really scares me to think about it.

I was bummed at first glance about that too. It appears Drudge just put that headline up as a teaser to get people to tune into his show. It was the most blatant form of false reporting I've seen in a long time. Even CNN said, "The Right Man Won!" Gotta love it. Mort Kondracke said this should be all the talk of Bush being "selected" versus "elected" to bed.

W was so cute holding Mandela's hand and what a ringing endorsement Mandela gave of W!

Ick! That is the alternate universe, the Bizarro World, where David Boise is the Ambassador to London! Or Terry McAuliffe...one of those two slimeballs was up for that post!!

Look at the caliber of people with whom our President has surrounded himself. Look at the respect he gets from world leaders. He is doing a great job, and the country should be grateful that Goron is NOT anywhere near DC!!

There's not much left to be said tonight. Others, posting earlier, have said it all. Thanks again for all you do here.

McAuliffe is the most obnoxious person in politics today, and that's saying something! He makes me lonesome for Carville - he's that bad! I can't find the remote fast enough when his mug shows up on the tube. GWB has first class around him all the way.

Hopefully I will be making my very first trip to DC in the late Spring. I am hoping to take a WH tour and take in DC culture including museums. My greatest wish would be to shake the President's hand! What an honor that would be. Of course I will tell our President how all the Bush Babes and Bush Bucks admire and support him.

I hope they have lots of coverage of Putin at the Prairie Chapel Bar-B-Q tomorrow night, cause I've got a really busy day tomorrow.

I'm taking our 17 year old son to the airport because he's flying to D.C. for the National Youth Leadership Forum on Law. Our 20 year old son went to the NYLF on International Relations and Diplomacy 3 years ago, and it was a fabulous experience.

This year will be better, though, because the nation has been purged of its evil President and his even more evil partner in crime, and the White House has been Cloroxed and made fresh and clean again!! Yippee!!!!!

Yes, you are so right, the day was like a nightmare all over again. It aches to see the people of this country go through misery again, and as for the President and his steadfast Administration we must rejoice to the Lord our thanks for these men in charge. It hurts to see President Bush and VP Cheny have to deal with this, but it comforts me to know that they have accepted the responsibility and consult the Lord of decisions they make everyday.

Thank you again rintense. Can't go to bed until I sneak a peak at this post EVERY NIGHT.
