That is not confirmed that an A-300 can't dump fuel. I have heard folks call into talk shows out here in SF, claiming to be airline pilots, who eventually showed that they were not by their lack of knowledge. We don't know for sure that this guy was a pilot for AA. A friend who is a very knowledgeable aviation source believes that they can, but cannot absolutely verify it from memory, and will let me know when he can verify it. Let's be discerning about the early information...
