If she hates men that bad and she is convinced that all men are evil then she needs help. Her issue of abuse is a valid concern, but there is a better way to display this than a cheap shot at men using a bunch of penis's, especially in a public library.
What has our world come to when we allow this kind of garbage to be displayed! Time to get back to morals and decency laws.
On a related note would they someone to post pictures or statues of vaginas in the library? I would hope not!
Compare this with the display of the artwork of Columbine students at school. The Jefferson County administrators ordered removed any student art with a religious, particulary Christian, theme. A federal judge recently ruled this a blatant violation of the First Amendment. Instead of replacing the artwork, JeffCo APPEALED with taxpayer money.
So, the position of local authorities in Colorado right now is that displays of the flag are to be avoided because they may "offend" (Boulder), student art reflecting religious feelings in response to Columbine must be removed as violating the First Amendment (Jeffco), but public displays of penises in a public library near childrens' displays is constitutionally protected and the person who took them down is liable for prosecution (Boulder).
In a sane world, the Jeffco administrators would be the ones arrested and the Boulder guy given the keys to the city!
The Penis had nothing to do with the women getting assaulted. However, he was seen near the Boulder public library about the time the alleged "artwork" was stolen. Boulder Police have been notified to be on the look out for a giant 6' long penis. Batman has also been contacted. The penis has been known to frequent health clubs and adult theaters. Note: the Penis may appear smaller when he is not aroused.
BTW, I'm surprised that this was some Feminist hate-men agit-prop exhibit. I assumed it was a good natured celebration of the penis and its powers. Sort of like "The Puppetry of the Penis."
