Was outbound, probably mechanical problems and returned a few minutes into the flight. The thing that doesn't make sense is the color of the smoke indicates low fuel.

Fire has changed from Class B to Class A. Most of the jet fuel would go up rapidly, leaving 'wood' and other solid combustibles to burn with 'white' smoke. Also, fire-fighting will change color of smoke and add steam to the plume.
