I rememeber that day. I was walking home from school and could see the smoke from the crash site. Nothing was said to us at school so I can remember asking my Mom what the smoke was from.
I also had a friend whose Dad was as fireman from Schiller Park. The stories he told me were chilling.

I got some good video footage of an angry fat Black Lady being handled by security in San Juan. She started to strip and they couldn't figure out how to handle it. Have a good trip and a safe flight.

These 'sleepers' are most likely recent immigrants to America who are working at jobs Americans don't want. Let's not start building walls around America.
I'm certainly not saying ALL immigrants, ONLY those from the islamic countries. How many more attacks (we don't know yet if this is one, though) do we need before our govt really wakes up?

Yes, schools in NY are closed today.

Only a fraction of checked bags are actually x-rayed. You see, there isn't any terrorist threat to merit making you spend more time at the airport.

Such eyewitness observation is completely consistant with first stage impeller disintegration and shroud penetration.
THere is zero likelihood of ANY A/C taking off with visible problem, but such impeller problems are microscopic until catastrophic failure. Also, planes crash somewhere in world every day.....

Before the Bell: Market action should be quieter today, with the Bond Market closed for Veterans Day and no releases on the Economic Calendar.
Right now the DOW down 156, NASDAQ down 20. I would guess last week's rally over, and future growth may be difficult. Also, companies often use events like this to "write down" expectations (i.e., cover for operational losses).

If it weren't for our diverse and vibrant immigrants, the American economy would stagnate and wither away. Who would take all the welfare money allocated to these folks! The goverment would have to return it to those who earned it!
It's almost anti-American to be against immigration.
Only if you're a socialist.

It's highly probable you may see an example of the old elementary school "rumor" game.
Through media reports quoting each other I could easily, almost EXPECT, the "FBI says there was an explosion on board" mutating into "FBI says there was a bomb on board."
Of course, to the loon moron conspiracy contigent, even the SLIGHTEST confusion or change in reported facts in the first few minutes after a complex event has occured is incontrovertible evidence of conspiracy or cover-up.

If this statement from the FBI regarding an explosion on board is true, this is not good. Ask yourself why the FBI at this point would make such a statement? Prior knowledge perhaps? I agree. But maybe not even prior knowledge...after the fact knowledge. Why else have divers searching, locking up the bay, closing tunnels? Reminds me of 9/11.

Fox says that President Bush is saying that the FBI says they believe there was a bomb on board. THEY DID NOT SAY THERE WAS A BOMB. I've been listening to FOX and they said NO SUCH THING.
What was said is that there was a SOUND like an explosion prior to the aircraft augering in. This can come from any number of things, only one of which is a bomb.

This is absolutely insane. I have to go to college classes right now. But if anything significant develops, please use me on a post, so i can find it on myself search. With the FBI believing it's an explosion I completely believe this is terrorist related.
Please pray for the people on the plane and the people on the ground.

HAS ANYONE ASKED HILLARY WHERE CHELSEA IS?I HOPE SHE WASN'T OUT JOGGING, OR COFFEEING @ ROCKAWAY THIS A.M.
To: austingirl
Yes they did. They are investigating an onboard explosion, possible bomb.

No flaming datum, no very heavy smoke trail, no very loud missle launch noise = No missle. You are right.

How about common sense? Wings do not separate without A LOT OF CONVINCING. Of course there was an explosion on board, and there were multiple witnesses. It's Peter Jennings with his "no evidence of terrorism" BS (this is AFTER the witnesses were interviewed) who has his head up his ass.

The black boxes are in the tail. So I guess that means we have three pieces, the tail, the right wing+engine, and the left wing+fuselage.
