That poem makes me feel so sad - it was posted on the Canteen thread a few days ago, I think. I just want to cry at so many injustices and horrible treatment of brave men who fought for us. Thank you for your earlier response yesterday, Rodger. I haven't gotten around to everyone personally yet, but I have every intention of saying thank you to all those who've visited this thread.

Don't worry about responding to every post, Billie. Your wonderful effort here and on the Canteen thread are more than enough thanks for those who have protected our precious freedoms. You are to be so highly commended for your heartfelt tribute to some of America's best. If we were both serving together, I would submit you for a Navy Achievement Medal.
