Again, let me thank you personally for your nice words and to the vets for their service. This was a tribute I've been working on for weeks and it means so much to me that it means so much to the veterans and the active service men and women. You are all special. I just don't want to leave anybody out in expressing my thanks for what you mean to America and what each one of you means to Free Republic.

Thanks for your efforts Billie. I can only remember being thanked for my service about three times and I've been out of the Navy for 32 years. It does make we vets feel appreciated.
