What's wrong with a Ford Taurus, or Honda civic, or Chevy Cavelier,Ford Contour, etc. Most of those drivers of SUV's don't need somthing that big, and the ones I see on the road are ALL OVER THE ROAD!

There has to be a good reason. If we place a tarrif on oil from countries that hate us that would raise the price of all oil based products and would be a rational start toward independence. That would give our developers here a reason to find alternatives to OPEC oil and we've already seen that there are lots of alternatives.
