What I love about O Reilly is that he is like a blood hound on the scent of an escaped convict. In fact that would make a great cartoon for the fight he is in with Clooney, given the movie Clooney stared in "Oh Brother Where Art Thou?".
Bill may not always be pithy, but he is the only "Man" in the major media. And that to me is his attraction, he may not always be right, but he is passionate about the truth as he sees it and man enough to step up to the plate instead of swimming down stream like Jennings, Blather, and their ilk.
For decades these smarmy Liberals have had center stage with their indefensible postions going unchallanged by anyone. If Bill gets to loud I will just adjust the volume.

? He's been called "arrogant," "obnoxious," a "know-nothing blowhard" and a whole lot worse.
This is funny coming from ABC, home of Peter Jennings. Jennings would much more closely fit the description of "arrogant, obnoxious, and know-nothing blowhard."
Well put!

Chalk up another vote for the "No-Spin Zone!" I don't care if Bill O'Reilly is a retro-liberal, quasi-conservative, proto-libertarian, neo-populist or whatever anyone wants to label him. I don't agree with him 100% of the time, but I always respect a guy who thinks for himself and has the guts to stick by his guns no matter what others say about him. If he is rude to his guests, it's only because he has a b.s. radar that would make the people who created NORAD jealous. And many of those guests are spewing b.s.. Bill has taken on the big-name charities, vain celebrities, dirty politicians, the city of Bezerkeley, Jesse Jackson, the Clintons, anti-American peaceniks, and creeps who mess with kids among others. He's in the old tradition of the crusading newsman and liberals hate him for it. Even if he does admire Bobby Kennedy.

I'd like for Bill to post a 25-words-or-less Mission Statement, describing what he does. He might not want to, since it might constrain him. When is he editorializing? Or is the whole thing, other than viewer mail response, Gonzo O'Reillyism?

ROFL, your statement about NORAD just about finished me off, that is funny. Your right, his picture should be next to "Newsman" in the dictionary.

No other news-clymers stir the political cesspool. O'Reilly is far from perfection,
but he's the only anchor-type pecking at those nattering nabobs.

After tonights show I commented on how O'Reilly must have to really sort though the hundreds of issues that need the kind of attention he is giving the charities.
He won't fade away, too many things need fixing.
I'm amazed that you can't see that.

These people are never going to alienate powerful people because they want to be liked by them. Since nobody likes me, I don't have that problem. LOL, good answer. :-)

Mr. "no-spin zone" O'Reilly has decided just how far he wants to challenge the "Washington establishment." More likely it was decided for him and his "challenges" are most likely staged. Good entertainment for the TV educated masses.

Bill O'Reilly, host of The O'Reilly Factor, has carved out a comfortable niche in the crowded arena of political talk shows, giving CNN's Larry King a run for his money in the ratings war. And the Diamondbacks gave the Yankees a run for their money???? No, O'Reilly is kicking Larry King's ash.
