Haven't seen anyone else bring this up, but I think this is a real hoot. Chelsea basically bashes her dad when she says, "I am still unsure about what Humpty Dumpty represented to me on that day, because I do not subscribe to -- and I even resent -- the theory that America's arrogance, even indirectly, led to the attacks. It just seemed as though the world were falling down, like Humpty Dumpty." Considering the fact that her dad is now the premier advocate of the "America's arrogance" crowd, I happen to think it's funny as hell that she unwittingly condemed him. Her remarks would have been made and printed long before his speech, and I bet Tina Brown would love to yank back every copy that's been issued. The conservative commentators had GOT to point this

"I even resent -- the theory that America's arrogance... When called to account, she'll simply say she was persuaded by the "greatest communicator of all time," her daddy. (Can't you see Webb, with forlorn face, reaching to her from between the bars, pleading not to make Bill mad at him again?)
