A 1 I reserved for dummies like Barbara Kingsolver and Bill Maher. Now read today’s Los Angeles Times piece, "Silent Men Speak to a U.S. Presence in Afghanistan," and e-mail your ranking of the piece. If you think its outrageous, call the paper at (800) 252-9141 and cancel your subscription. The write the editor a note. He’s John Carroll, and his e-mail is john.carroll@latimes.com. Then write the big boss in Chicago a note. That’s John Madigan at the Tribune Company. His e-mail is master-webmaster@tribune.com. His phone number is 312-222-9100 x 3123.Please let me know of other instances of candidates for rating on the treason index.
