Why should I care what kind of Mexicans walk the streets there? This is your hypothetical "why don't people fall if the Earth isn't flat" scenario. I can bring you to a car wash or a construction site here in the SFBA where the whole crew, with the exception of foreman, is illegal and can't speak English.

Make employers check the legal status of the employees and enforce that, that alone will remove the incentive for the millions to mingle among us here and prevent hordes of the new illegals from coming.

There are many other situations where the authorities check the identity and if they start deporting illegals that get caught, that will help too.
