I am reminded of the verse in Genesis that says God gave Adam a help "meet". Many people think that verse means "help-mate", but it really is help-meet. Meaning a partner that is fit, equal, etc. Laura is certainly all that and more, and we Americans are fortunate to have such a couple as our leaders, especially at this time. They are always touching or gazing at each other lovingly, from the early pictures to the most recent. No "photo-op" poses for them. Just genuine love and affection that is so refreshing, and as otherts have said, a real example for all of us. God bless President and First Lady Bush on their anniversary, and may they never lose that glowing happiness with each other that shines like a beacon for others to follow.
