Did you know that a Centaur is symbolic for the devil. Half man...half animal.

"The Centaur Compendium"

"A centaur is a mythical creature with the head and torso of a man joined to the body of a horse. With its origins in Greek mythology, the centaur is one of the most enduring mythological creations, persisting through art and literature in the Middle Ages and enjoying a rebirth with the twentieth century explosion in the genre of fantasy."

"The Origin of the Centaur"

Depends on the definition of the term "devil"...LOL!! Actually, the Centaur was depicted as a Noble Beast in C.S. Lewis's "Narnia" series, and has been depicted mostly as a beast prone to drunken debauchery...if you knew the folks in my band, you'd see that the name can be quite applicable at times...MUD
