I looked at your profile. For such a religious person your remarks about the "alleged victim" certainly seem out of place. Apparently you have never been in combat or seen what it can do to a human beings state of well being. Perhaps you should discuss this with your Priest or Minister. (presuming they have experience with these matters)
Everyone conferred with victimhood status is automatically absolved of personal responsibility.
The liberal holds her nose with one hand while stretching out a dollar with the other. She walks away thinking: "I am a good person. I did a good deed, therefore I am good." Thus she deludes herself. In order to be charitable a person has to do the hard work of determining who it is that deserves charity, and whether the charity actually results in a real benefit for the recipient rather than in the deluded feelings of the giver.
